Waste as valuable goods

Dear Readers,

Circular economy also in the field of composting is the focus of our cover story „Biowaste Composting”  in which various process routes and the associated machines and plants are presented in detail.

A very similar concern is also pursued by the technicel article „PARFORCE – an innovative phosphorus-recovery process“. The article presents a new, economically sensible process that produces phosphoric acid as a recycling product.

At the end of their useful life, thermal insulation composite systems present a particular challenge to recycling. In the article "Processing and recycling – Disposal of exterior external thermal insulation composite systems containing EPS" different shredding processes are applied.
