Holland Recycling is increasing its added value and recycling rate
The Dutch company Holland Recycling has been a specialist for the disposal and processing of old IT devices since 2010. Its core strength lies in the electronic recycling of IT devices, with a focus on the recovery of metals and the added value of precious metals on printed circuit boards with more than 25 different qualities.
In doing so, Holland Recycling provides the most sustainable solution for decommissioned electronic devices. Holland Recycling has been WEEELABEX certified since 2015 and meets the strictest standards in electronic recycling.
As part of an expansion that includes the future processing of large electronic appliances (white goods), Holland Recycling is investing in modern recycling technology. Holland Recycling is using the TQZ2000 turbo-crusher from THM recycling solutions to make the recycling process more efficient and increase the share of added value.
In this extensive project, THM demonstrates its expertise as a system supplier. In addition to delivery and installation, the company’s services also include the complete design of the plant.
The TQZ plant, with a drive power of 315 kW, is designed to recycle 6 – 8 t/h of waste appliances. The entire system consists of a 9-m³ hopper with a feed conveyor and subsequent material discharge, as well as a transfer to an attached sorting booth. Eight manual workstations have been provided on two conveyors to achieve a recovery rate of over 80 %.
THM has more than 35 years of experience in the field of TQZ turbo-crusher. The TQZ2000 is ideally suited for breaking down a wide variety of composite materials. Their rapid and gentle breakdown using chains increases the process’s cost-effectiveness and is also resource-efficient. As a result, the materials are shredded and processed in the shortest possible time. Thanks to this innovative approach, the TQZ turbo-crusher offers double the value: through the efficient, trouble-free separation of even components containing harmful substances and significantly lower costs for wear parts. Thanks to lower wear costs and long service life, high cost-effectiveness and a long service life are guaranteed.
In addition, the THM product portfolio includes robust granulators, turbo-crusher, cutting mills, hammer mills, and pre-shredders. The machines are used in the processing of electrical and electronic scrap, refrigeration appliances, cables, metal composites and shavings, scrap tires, oil filters, alternative fuels, and biomass. A comprehensive range of services rounds out the offering.
