SPALECK GmbH & Co. KG

BEST SCREENING. BEST INFEED. FOR BEST SORTING.

At IFAT 2026, the world‘s leading trade fair for environmental technologies, SPALECK will be presenting two world-first technical innovations that make recycling processes noticeably more efficient, economical and robust: the new ActiveFLOW feed unit for sorting machines and the AutoCLEAN screening deck define the ‘next level’ in recycling technology.

ActiveFLOW: Controlled material feeding for demanding sorting processes

With the ActiveFEED infeed hopper, SPALECK has established a system in recent years that continuously supplies sorting units with a defined amount of material at the touch of a button, thus enabling maximum consistency in recycling processes.

At IFAT 2026, SPALECK is expanding this concept with the new ActiveFLOW feed unit. It is specially designed for applications in which high-quality material flows – especially in metal recycling – must be fed with maximum uniformity and reproducible layer thickness. Optimised oscillation amplitudes and controlled, smooth ramp-up and ramp-down minimise material movement and prevent unwanted dynamics in the material bed. The material is settled, singulated and fed in with precision.

Downstream sorting systems such as sensor sorters, X-ray sorting devices or LIBS technologies benefit from homogeneous material distribution and stable particle flow. The result is maximum process stability and optimal feeding for optimal and economical sorting.

AutoCLEAN screening deck: The first to clean itself

With the new AutoCLEAN screening technology, SPALECK is also launching a solution that drastically reduces the cleaning effort required for problematic recycling materials. Suitable for use in all SPALECK Recycling Waste Screens and 3D COMBI Screening Machines, the screening deck cleans itself through an internal, additionally adjustable system.

Sticky materials such as moist IBA, compost or biomass cannot stick – the screening deck remains permanently open. This saves downtime, reduces manual cleaning effort and significantly improves screening performance.

In addition to AutoCLEAN, SPALECK is introducing further new screening panels – each tailored to the specific requirements of metal, plastic, C&D and MSW recycling.

"With the ActiveFEED infeed hopper, the new ActiveFLOW feed unit, the AutoCLEAN screening panels and our bespoken screening machine configurations, we are showcasing BEST INFEED & BEST SCREENING for BEST SORTING at IFAT.

Our technology supports the entire recycling process – efficiently, reliably and profitably," reports Frederik Stening, Head of Application Technology at SPALECK.

SPALECK CONNECT Cloud: Optimal insight, optimal availability

With the SPALECK CONNECT Cloud, the screening technology specialist also offers a comprehensive functional update to its proven condition monitoring solution. SPALECK CONNECT technology has been in successful use since 2017 and has now been expanded with a cloud solution – for even greater transparency and efficiency in recycling operations. Operators can keep an eye on the current machine status in real time, receive automatic maintenance notifications and thus benefit from predictive maintenance. Thanks to the OPC UA interface, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing plant control systems – for less downtime, higher availability and increased operational safety. Experience SPALECK Connect live at IFAT 2026, right at the exhibition stand.

SPALECK: Tailor-made screening solutions for maximum recovery

With the philosophy "Your material. Your screening machine.", SPALECK develops highly specialised machine solutions that are precisely tailored to the requirements of customers and their materials. Whether household waste, slag, plastics or industrial waste – the focus is always on optimum screening quality for the sorting process.

All solutions are modular in design and engineered for maximum ease of use, low maintenance and long-lasting performance. SPALECK technology is in use worldwide – in over 70 countries.
