Lindner-Recyclingtech: Lindner will be showcasing its new Atlas 5500 electrically powered twin-shaft primary shredder. What makes the Atlas shredder special and innovative - asynchronous shredding-shaft systems have been on the market for a long time – is this machine‘s electrical drive concept: Lindner, a technology leader in comminution systems, is further uprating its familiar asynchronous-motor/belt-drive arrangement and now unveils a twin-shaft unit incorporating smart energy management. Thanks to this, the Atlas consumes up to 40 % less energy than shredders with conventional hydraulic drive. The electrical drive also permits more rapid reaction than the hydraulic type.

Lindner-Recyclingtech: Thanks to various recent changes in regulations, affecting for example the waste wood and plastics sectors, the industry is currently highly dynamic and is generating very good business trends.
recovery: What do you expect as an exhibitor from this fair?
Lindner-Recyclingtech: Making new contacts in western Germany and the Benelux countries, and consolidation of the contacts we gained at the IFAT.
