Feeding, sorting, dismantling – precise scrap recycling with the SENNEBOGEN 830 G

Excavator operator Vítězslav Weis has been working for KOVOŠROT GROUP CZ s.r.o. in Prague – a long-established company in the field of scrap and metal recycling – for more than 15 years. His tasks are varied: from sorting and loading to working on the scrap shears and maintenance work. “I actually do everything here,” he says with a smile. The SENNEBOGEN 830 G has become his daily companion.

“The excavator sometimes works 16 hours a day – and it copes with this without any problems,” reports Weis. Whether loading trucks and wagons, sorting different metal fractions, or feeding the scrap shear, the 830 G impresses him with its speed, reliability, and precise control. In the hectic everyday life of a scrap yard, it is crucial that the excavator responds quickly and can be controlled with precision.

Intuitive control with modern SENcon system

A key feature of the G Series model is the new SENcon control system, which is now operated via a tablet in the cab. “I can really control everything with it – from the radio and air conditioning to the sensitivity of the control levers,” explains Weis. The large touchscreen display is reminiscent of a modern smartphone and allows all machine functions to be customized. This intuitive operation not only reduces training time, but also ensures a pleasant, focused working atmosphere.

More range, less maneuvering

With the K17 work equipment, the 830 G has an impressive reach of 17 m. For the operator, this means significantly less maneuvering and more efficient workflows. “The equipment is noticeably longer – I don't have to constantly change position,” says Weis. This reach proves to be a great advantage, especially when loading wagons or dealing with confusing piles of scrap material, and makes everyday work noticeably easier.

In addition to its performance, the comfort of the Maxcab cab is a decisive advantage for Weis. “What I like most is how comfortable it is to work in – the cab is quiet, spacious, and everything is easy to operate,” he explains. The ergonomic design, air-suspension seat, automatic climate control, and excellent all-round visibility contribute to a pleasant working environment, even during long shifts.

A multifunctional helper in continuous use

Whether it's scrap shears, sorting grapples, or truck loading, the 830 G is in daily use at the scrap yard. Its robust construction, precise hydraulics, and user-friendly operation make it an indispensable tool in the business. “The excavator simply does everything I ask of it – and does it perfectly,” summarizes Weis.

With the SENNEBOGEN 830 G, KOVOŠROT GROUP CZ s.r.o. is relying on a machine that optimally combines performance, comfort, and modern technology – a reliable partner in demanding scrap handling that visibly makes everyday work easier.

Driver enthusiasm as the deciding factor for the investment

KOVOŠROT Managing Director Petr Tesař decided to purchase the new SENNEBOGEN 830 G after Vítězslav Weis was thoroughly impressed by the machine during a test run. His positive experiences with the machine's ease of operation, precision, and reliability convinced management to provide the experienced operator with the best possible equipment. In close cooperation with long-standing SENNEBOGEN sales and service partner Merimex, the machine was finally delivered and integrated into ongoing operations. The purchase was therefore not only an investment in modern technology, but also in work quality and employee satisfaction.
