Here‘s to an exciting 2026
Dear readers,
A new, still largely untouched year lies ahead of us. Exciting – what will happen, what new experiences will we have, what new friends and contacts will we meet, and what groundbreaking developments will we encounter?
It will definitely be an exciting year for the recycling sector. IFAT MUNICH, which sees itself as the largest platform for environmental technologies in the fields of water, recycling, and circularity, will take place in Munich/Germany. IFAT is the place to meet old acquaintances, discover new things, and experience exciting ideas and innovative solutions live. This is just one of the highlights we are looking forward to in 2026. Of course, there are many other valuable meeting places this year. The BIR's WORLD RECYCLING CONVENTION & EXHIBITION will take place in Gothenburg/Sweden, at the beginning of June. This is another meeting of the international recycling industry that we are eagerly awaiting.
ICM AG will also be presenting a whole series of interesting events focusing on individual topics: the IARC – International Automotive Recycling Congress will take place in Hamburg/Germany at the end of March, the ICBR 2026 – International Congress for Battery Recycling will take place in Berlin/Germany in September, and the World Reuse & Recycling Forum will take place in Shanghai/China, in December.
To remain on the international stage, we as the recovery team will be heading to Rimini/Italy, in November – not just to eat pizza, but above all to visit the truly lively and innovative Ecomondo, the International Trade Fair for Green Technology.
