HAMMEL Recyclingtechnik
30 years of “THE ORIGINAL” at IFAT 2026HAMMEL, a leading player in the recycling industry based in Thuringia, will be exhibiting at the renowned IFAT in Munich for already 14 times. IFAT offers HAMMEL the ideal platform to meet and exchange ideas with customers and prospective clients from all over the world.
With over 30 years of experience, the company sets standards in the development of machinery and plants is the processing of materials ranging from waste wood, tree stumps, railway sleepers, domestic and commercial waste, aluminium and metals to car bodies. HAMMEL remains true to the tried-and-tested twin-shaft principle, which is used multifunctionally in the slow-running standard models. Machine models are constantly being innovatively adapted to the market and customer requirements.
However, HAMMEL’s commitment extends far beyond standard models. The company develops efficient complete plants and special-purpose machines to meet the individual needs of its customers. The expert team works closely with customers and dealers to find tailor-made and reliable solutions that are used worldwide.
In the development of technological progress, electro-hydraulic machines are on the rise and have become indispensable. These machines are powered by renewable energy and, as stationary versions with electric drives, can be installed and operated at a fixed location both indoors and outdoors. One such machine will be presented to visitors at the IFAT trade fair.
As the ideal follow-on product to the HAMMEL pre-shredder, the company is presenting a newly developed screen – semi-mobile on a hook-lift. The aim is to produce a fine-grained material using very fine shredding shafts, which is then screened into specific sizes via the 5-m-long disc screen and can be reused as a finished product for material or thermal applications. The latest screening technology is the result of a collaboration with the company’s long-standing Swiss partner, MWN, which is why the screen is also presented in the company’s green colour.
