Transformation Program “Doppstadt 2030” launched
13.01.2026As part of the “Doppstadt 2030” transformation program, the Doppstadt Group is setting the course for profitable growth and a strengthened market position. The number of managing directors will be reduced to three, and all domestic Doppstadt companies will be merged into a single entity. The goal is to consolidate responsibilities, shorten decision-making processes, and accelerate the implementation of initiatives.
“With our ‘Doppstadt 2030’ program, we are creating the conditions to take Doppstadt to the next level,” says Dr. Philipp Nellessen, CEO and Spokesperson of the management board

Going forward, Doppstadt will be managed by three executive directors: Dr. Philipp Nellessen (CEO) will oversee the transformation program as well as Sales & Development, Reimund Hoffmann will be responsible for Production, and Michael Simon will be in charge of Finance. Gerd Schreier (Managing Director Sales) will leave the company. Hannes Fischer (Managing Director Development) will continue to lead development and engineering within the Doppstadt Group, but will no longer serve as a member of the management board.
As part of the transformation program, the Calbe site will be strengthened: Beginning in 2026, additional machines from the new product portfolio will be manufactured in Calbe, while the service and spare parts operations will be expanded and centralised at this location.
Since Custos joined in 2022, cooperation and business development have progressed positively, despite challenging conditions in the recycling industry. The investments already made and the need for a clear structure to support ongoing investment discussions lead to the next logical step – transferring the remaining RBG shares. Going forward, Ferdinand Doppstadt will focus on the LIG Group while continuing to support Doppstadt in an advisory capacity.
“Through our program ‘Doppstadt 2030,’ we are laying the foundation to elevate Doppstadt to the next level,” says Dr. Philipp Nellessen, CEO and Spokesperson of the management board. “We are pooling our strengths, enhancing profitability, and investing strategically in products, service, and innovation to establish Doppstadt as a leading solutions partner for processing technologies in the international market. The fact that Ferdinand Doppstadt not only initiated this path but will continue to accompany it in an advisory role is extremely positive for me and for all of us at Doppstadt.”
