Through innovations the numerous challenges in waste management can be turned into economically profitable and environmentally friendly opportunities. Nowadays, the growing waste stream imposes a change of the current model of production, consumption and resource management in South-East Europe. The new EU targets in this field further encourage the countries in the region to upgrade their waste sorting, treatment, recycling, recovery facilities and infrastructure.
Save the Planet is the only event in Bulgaria in an 'exhibition-conference' format dedicated to waste management and recycling. During its 9 consecutive years it has established itself as one of the most authoritative initiatives in SE Europe.
