First construction and recycling trade fair of 2022 to showcase new products live and up close!

Exhibitors at RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE to use first event in the calendar to demonstrate newly developed machinery

Karlsruhe, 17 March 2022. After two years, trade fairs are finally back! RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE is set to mark the beginning of a year full of innovations. Around 185 exhibitors will present their latest products at the double trade fair from 5 to 7 May 2022. Everyone involved is looking forward to in-person discussions and seeing the new machinery up close. The organising team cannot wait for the restart: “The visitors, exhibitors and we in the organising team are really looking forward to the event. The industry has waited so long to once again experience machinery and innovations live, compare them and judge how they can solve the challenges they face in their own businesses. From the latest plant systems and electrical drives to digital software solutions, visitors will receive an excellent overview of the trends and developments within the sector”, says project manager Olivia Hogenmüller.

Machinery for efficient work on compact construction sites

Wacker Neuson will present its compact construction machinery and equipment at the trade fair. These products will include excavators, dumpers, wheeled and telescopic loaders, vibratory plates, compactors and concrete systems. Also on show will be the company’s battery-powered solutions from its zero emission range. By eliminating exhaust emissions, these are already making a difference on inner-city construction sites. The range includes the APS series of battery-powered vibratory plates, which are suitable for all standard compacting tasks, particularly on asphalt. The machinery on offer in the broad zero emission range is now capable of completely serving a typical inner-city construction site without any exhaust emissions and with extremely low noise levels. Visitors to the trade fair will be able to test these products on the company’s own demonstration area of around 280 square metres.

Bauer will showcase its BG 33 H Kompakt drilling rig at the demonstration building site special heavy construction. This enables work at a drilling depth of up to 70 metres. Thanks to the compact design, the rig is easy to set up on site and allows for flexible and efficient work even in areas where space is at a premium. The mobilisation package with hydraulically operated pin connection allows the attachment to be disassembled quickly and safely. For special transport requirements, the upper level can also be stripped down to a weight of 27.5 tonnes. The remote control allows many rigging functions like this to be performed from outside the danger zone.

Digital solutions for the connected construction site

123erfasst has developed an app that simplifies fleet management on site, giving site managers a full overview of their machinery at all times. The app compiles telematics data centrally and presents it in a clear interface. The machine data is collected automatically on site and flows into the reports. Users can then plan deployment in a single program via a live map view with central user management. The app can also collect data on machine performance automatically and perform calculations.

Another app from Schüttflix allows users to fully digitise the process of ordering and delivering sand, gravel, stones and other material. The start-up firm developed the app over two years ago to connect market players across Germany. Schüttflix now has a network of over 2,500 partners and over 10,000 organised trucks, giving it the largest market coverage nationwide. The company delivers over 350 products simply and transparently to construction sites all over the country. Alongside bulk material, users of the app can also organise transport for mineral waste with just a few clicks.
