Dear reader,

Plastic does not have the best image. Plastic waste in oceans and rivers is a topic that resounds throughout the land while the resulting consequences for the residing species as well as the impact on our environment, and finally on ourselves, are hotly debated. On the other hand, plastic is inseparably linked to our daily life - it is found in our cars, in IT technology and in the household devices we use every day. This is the background against which the K2019 will take place in Dusseldorf from October 16 to 23.
