BKK´25 – Berlin Sewage Sludge Conference

Where to put sewage sludge ash after 2029? Experts and industry players will discuss this and other current issues at this year's Berlin Sewage Sludge Conference, which will take place on 11 and 12 November at the Hotel Berlin, Lützowplatz 17, 10785 Berlin.

There is now general consensus that there will not be sufficient capacity for phosphorus recovery in 2029. However, it is unclear how the representatives of the enforcement authorities on the one hand and those responsible for waste disposal on the other will deal with this. The paths to implementing the AbfKlärV remain varied and exciting.

Topics of the conference include:

  • Political and legal framework conditions
  • Tenders
  • Financing/implementation
  • Vapour treatment
  • Exhaust air purification
  • Plants/processes
  • Legal aspects, and
  • P recovery and recycling

The conference is aimed at managers and experts from plant engineering, component manufacturers, plant operators, service providers, planning offices, consulting companies, science and administration.
