At the IFAT pump manufacturer Tsurumi will be showcasing new products including its CZ waste water pumps and MMR submersible mixers. „Smart“ is the Connect system that connects, monitors and controls everything.

New products on display include agitators from the MMR series for mixing, stirring, dissolving and aerating. With motors up to 7,5 kW and three-blade propellers up to 650 mm in diameter, they can handle water densities of up to 1100 kg/m3. Tsurumi‘s TRN submersible aerators can also be combined. They are another topic at the show, delivering an efficient approach that is said to be superior to other aerating alternatives.

With the new CZ series, Tsurumi aims to redefine the benchmark for waste water pumps up to 15 kW. The CZ has been specially developed for sewage containing difficult and hard solids. The manufacturer found a unique shredder design with a heart-shaped suction plate and a sharp scissor mechanism, which prevents the pump from clogging – another piece of hardware that is said to be superior to others. The performance shown in advance is indeed impressive: the CZ effortlessly shreds towels, trousers and all kinds of solids. Its power even surpasses the shredding performance of the shark teeth that Tsurumi relies on for the C series.

Tsurumi-Connect links these and other hardware units, even from different manufacturers. It is a new „smart“ electronic system that monitors the functioning of the connected appliances. Individual programmes take over control and send a message when performance data is reached, the hardware is moved on/from site or malfunctions occur. Tsurumi will be demonstrating the use of the system with its Tsurubox sewage lifting unit live at the booth. Pumps such as the latest version of the LSC “flat” dewatering pump, which collects water down to a residual level of just one millimetre, will run in a wet demonstration scenario.
